麦秸画的创作者是安丰手工女艺人刘用明。其作品分为简易、工艺、创意三类，吸取了国画、版画、剪纸、烙画等手法，古朴典雅，惟妙惟肖，表达了一个手工艺人对祖国的美好祝愿、对美好生活的讴歌。
